1. Joining the game
Make sure you join A Bizarre Run by “A Bizarre Run By Current.”, not one of the other “Bizarre” games (how to tell them apart). New players load into a Tutorial.
Stuck on “Waiting for an available server”?
Servers fill up on update days. Close it with the X in the top-left and join again. On the D4C release day it took us four attempts and about 15 minutes.
2. Pick your first Stand (free)
- The game says “Pick a card to get your first Stand!” and lays out three face-down cards. Click any of them.
- The cards flip and show three Stands. Ours were The Sun, Mr. President and Anubis; yours are random.
- Click the Stand you want and press Continue, or press Reroll (1) to swap all three. You get one free reroll.

3. Riding: sprint, Stamina and the yellow arrow
You start on your horse. The tutorial tells you to hold Shift to sprint. The vertical Stamina bar beside your horse drains while you sprint (ours dropped to 70% after a short ride) and refills when you let go.
A yellow arrow next to your horse points to where you need to go. Steer with A and D until it points straight ahead. Your place in the race (for example “9th”) is shown under your character.

4. On foot
Press N to get off your horse. The key hints switch to combat: left click attacks, F blocks and Q dashes. Press T to call your horse back.

You start with a Revolver as your sidearm. Hold C to change it; R is labelled Transform.
